This fantastic design was made by Sophia Moon, a 20 year old AUT Student. The design is based on the favourite kids story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". Most Kiwi homes have a well worn copy of this classic book.

Sophia says "I hope all you children (young and old) get a kick out of wearing your Caterpillar Thunderpants".

  • Available in sizes medium (5-7 years) and large (8-10 years) this very comfortable cami is a smaller version of Mum's. Now with more refined banding, because wee girls have informed us they like that.

    Measuring from the shoulder to the hem the approximate lengths are as follows: medium 48cm and large 52cm.

  • The Thunderpants fabric is 90% organically grown cotton and 10% spandex to give it that super comfy, soft stretchy feel. The neck and shoulder straps are constructed in the same, lovely fabric eliminating the need for the addition of nasty, grippy elastic and adding to the enjoyment of your childsThunderpants cami  experience. All the garments are made locally and lovingly in New Zealand. 

  • To preserve the vibrant colours and life of the fabric we suggest you do not soak or bleach your Thunderpants items. Use a gentle detergent in a cold machine wash and dry your Thunderpants on the line, not in the drier. 

    Your Thunderpants are not only super comfy but they are designed to withstand some pretty staunch stuff, so get into them and get on out there!
